i call him 'the man with the starched shirt'. i see him on the bus every morning. he's probably in his late twenties. i can't help but stare at him even though my mom taught me years ago that it's really rude to stare at someone.

he's of average height, medium build, always in a long sleeved shirt and tailored pants. and always with a briefcase. nothing remarkable you might think. but ahh, it's the way he carries himself. i swear there is no crease on his shirt, tie or pants. he makes sure of it. and you can tell. his hands are always several inches away from his body never touching, and his elbows slightly bent outward as if in fear that one slight movement would ruin it all. occasionally he would tug very carefully at his shirt making sure that any imaginery crease would cease to exist. his cuff links are polished and his hair neatly gelled. and oh his hair. not a strand out of place. it never grows even when the wind blows.

i try not to be rude and not stare at the man with the starched shirt but he is a work of art to me. one day, he may just glare at me and tell me i'm rude. to which i will reply 'but you're just mezmerizing' and then reach out and ruffle his hair with much affection.

sunday scenes.

hello. how are you? so sorry to be away for so long. our internet server is down and we've been spending our time with technical support to get it going again. unfortunately, they couldn't figure it out either. when we finally decided to terminate our internet account, the guy on the other side said, that's a wise decision. well, that wasn't the kind of support we were looking for but it was definitely a sign to move on. so it looks like we'll be up and about by the end of the month with our new internet provider. i can't wait.

meanwhile, i hope this month of march has been kind to you. have a great week ahead.

yesterday's ramblings.
i've run out of subjects to take pictures of. so i went to ti-ger and asked him to pose for me. this was his attempt at a back flip.
i love walking into stores that says 50% off everything. not the ones that says Up to 50% or have little fine prints that say otherwise. i love anything polka dotted so this one caught my eye. at $14, i thought it was a steal. something else to wear during the weekends!

this evening the husband and i went to ajisen for a dinner of noodles. we spent the evening talking about the beatles and caffeinated tea and unforgettable childhood moments. we laughed til our bellies ached. then we came home and had raspberry jello. hope you're having a jelloee evening too.
